Scan to Vector – Oblique Coffee Roasters

Converted hand drawn logo in to Adobe Illustrator layered artwork. Applied color and type treatment for final vector output, to ultimately be embroidered on to a baseball cap.

For Oblique Coffee Roasters, an owner operated roaster and neighborhood coffee shop, I created vector artwork from a scanned, elaborate hand-drawn logo using a variety of tools in Illustrator and Photoshop for the purpose of sending the vector artwork for embroidery on a baseball cap. Client had originally asked that I teach him how to do the work himself for an hourly rate, which I was willing to do. Having already worked out the kinks and developed the best workflow, the day I went to his place of business for the training session, we were only a few minutes in when he asked me to finish the job.
